How to Start Living a Wonderful & Fulfilling Life?

I believe many wish they knew how to start living a wonderful and fulfilling life… Here, I’ve something which would definitely be useful to you if you would use it ;-)

  1.  Answer this question[i] ASAP: What are the Good Memories§ you want to leave behind when you leave this World? To emphasise it, ask, “What Good Memories§ do you want to be remembered when you die?” (List at least ONE).
  2. To be sure that you’re really committed, ask whether you are willing to risk shortening your life to achieve your Good Memories§ ? If you are, then by all means, just do what you need and live life to the fullest.J[ii]. You should also ensure that whatever are you willing to sacrifice in order to obtain your Good Memories§ does not, at any moment in time, result in someone else being hurt. If it may, then please review your Good Memories§ and/or the strategies you have to achieve them before commencing with your plan.
  3. To help you not waste your daily life, just think about what are the Good Memories§ you want to be able to reflect upon at the end of each day. (This will help you to be focused and objective in scheduling time for achieving your Good Memories§ by the end of the day; it will also enable you to be more aware about your priorities in Life). With the Good Memories§ finalised, you will be able to make a decision to any challenges in your life within 5 minutes without a probability of regretting it in the future J
  4. Strategies on How to Achieve Your Good Memories§:

    • a.                Research/Read/Learn all the things that you can on topics that relates and that may assist you in achieving your Good Memories§.
    • b.                Action on all the things that you’ve learnt/discovered from your research.
    • c.                Enjoy every moment of life by creatively/innovatively finding more ways to Research/Read/Learn, all the things that you can, about topics that relates to your Good Memories§ and Action on all the things that you’ve learnt/discovered.
    • d.                The best way to really understand what you’ve learnt is of course to be able to effectively teach what you’ve Researched/Read/Learnt to others. Bench mark: you can only be certified that you’ve truly understood a subject if those whom you taught think that they benefited from your sharing and is able to confidently share what you shared!

    * - Open a file[iii] (e.g. with many empty clear plastic pockets). In them, place all the things that you desire-the pictures or words representing your dreams/ Good Memories§ that you want and hope to achieve. And at the front cover, you may have the title written as “My Dream Destiny File” or “(Your Name) Dream Destiny File” to personalise it. On the second page, insert the article, which you’re now reading. For the third page, lists down all the answers that you come up with after reading this article. The rest of the pages will be your showcase of what life would be like for you when you have achieved answering whatever you wanted in life—Living your Dreamed Destiny. You may showcase anything of your choice regardless of what others may comment on them as every one of us is unique and is entitled to our own opinion of what we like and dislike—Freedom of Choice. This “Dream Destiny File” can be used as a personal motivation for us to strive for what we want to be worth!

§ Knowing our Good Memories is like knowing the final picture of a Jigsaw Puzzle. If we do not have the final picture of the Jigsaw Puzzle with us, it is almost impossible for us to solve the Jigsaw Puzzle. Even if we get to solve it eventually, it would have taken so much of our effort and time that when it is solved, we’re probably too tired or old to enjoy the fruits of our labour. When we have the final picture, do not worry about not being able to complete the Jigsaw Puzzle because once we started piecing it together, we would have very high chances of completing it. Even if we could not complete it (should we be killed whilst in our quest for our Good Memories)… we would still have (left behind) the Good Memories of knowing that we had tried our best and that we had not let ourselves down. Thus, we will die with NO REGRETS – because we would have lived a life with no Guilt!

    • [i] This question is important, as it’ll help you to discover your personal Purpose or Goals in living your life. With your Purpose or Goals sorted out, decision-making will be a breeze (easily or even effortlessly). The simple reason is that for every decision that you need to make, you only need to ask yourself, “Does this Challenge (problem) Benefit me or Harm me? If it Benefits me, I’ll accept the Challenge, otherwise I’ll reject the challenge as my life is priceless and I will not risk on anything that does not Benefit me.” However, if it is a Challenge as a result of the consequence of our earlier decision, we’ll need to be responsible enough to solve it. Either by ourselves or with the help of friends—can be anyone who is willing to help us). A True Friend is Someone Who Stays By Your Side In Your Time of Need When Everyone Else Avoids You.
    • [ii] It is better to live like a Lion for a Day, than to live like a Sheep for the rest of our Lives. As a Lion, we get to decide what we want and also when we want to achieve it; But as a Sheep, we live in fear and thus dare not dream of what we want, much less daring to decide what we want and when we want to achieve it! … Choose to Live a Life of Action, rather than Reaction, as it will mean that We Get to be Prepared for What is To Be—as we’re the ones, to a certain extend, planned for What is To Be.
    • [iii] This file can be used as an ice-breaker in families that never seem to know any reason to gather for a chat as they think they’ve a huge generation gap-don’t understand one another and can’t find common ground to talk about. With the “Dream Destiny File” created, especially by each and every family member… there will be so many topics to talk about that the only worry is… “Do we have enough time to share?”… Hence, we need to live longer to continually share our Good Memories§.

Thoughts on Achieving Success: Past, Present & Future

I believe everyone of us have thoughts of achieving success sometime in our lives. However, the older we get, with the amount of setbacks that we’ve encountered in our lives, sometimes, we wonder if we could ever achieve success :-( Well, you might be glad to know that:-

The Past Does NOT Equate to the Future Unless You Live There!

Everyday, we’re all living in the Present, which is like a gift as in a present (spelt exactly the same as the word present as in the present day). Well, maybe we should regard today as a gift and treasure it like a gift ;-)

Below is a concept I like to share:

E x C + A = R

R = E x C + A

Where:-

E = Environment

C = Circumstances (Events)

A = Action [A(E)=Action with Emotion or Experience; A(S/K)= Action with Skill or Knowledge]

R = Result [This result is a consequence of our action or non-action. It could be a positive (+ve) result or a negative (-ve) result depending on what is our action to a situation(an event or circumstance)].

Hence, with the above explanation, the equation becomes:-

A) Environment x Circumstances + Action = Result

B) Result= Environment x Circumstances + Action

Now, looking at the same phrase you seen earlier: The Past Does NOT Equate to the Future Unless You Live There! We can equate the E x C as the Past, A as the Present, and R as the Future.

Where our current Environment and our current Circumstances (both our Environment and our Circumstances are inter-related, that’s the reason why the symbol ‘x’ or ‘times’ equation is used) are the results of our past actions. We might not change our past actions, but as we’re living in the present, we could still change the result of our future Environment and our future Circumstances, see equation B above (Please refer to Notes at the end of this article).

With this explanation, the equation becomes:-

Past [Environment x Circumstances] + Present [Action] = Future [Result]

Hence,

the Past Does Not Equate to the Future because you have the Present to change the Future ;-)

Since our Future is decided by the actions we take in the Present,  then we should be aware of what actions we take as they would determine the type of Future we’re having. Remember A(E)=Action with Emotion or Experience; A(S/K)= Action with Skill or Knowledge? Well, since our actions are determined by our emotion, past experience, skill and knowledge, then we should learn how to control our emotion, customize our experience and improve our skill and knowledge so that we could do the right action when we’re faced with a difficult situation.

With the pasting of time, our current action would become the past (eg. yesterday) and our future would become our present (eg. today). Hence, if you want a better tomorrow, start by taking positive actions today to create a tomorrow that you would look forward to ;-)

Remember these phrases that were posted in a previous article in this website:

People Blame Circumstances for What They Are. To Be Successful, Look for the Circumstances You Want. If You Cannot Find Them, Create Them!

The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Invent It ;-)

Some Men see Things as They are and say Why? I see Things that Never were and say Why Not!

Notes: If our current Environment is not producing the Circumstances we desire, we might want to consider changing this environment. Remember, we’re not a tree, rooted to the ground, so if we can’t fit into the environment that we’re in, we might consider moving on to another environment that could give us the circumstances we want. This is especially true if we’re not enjoying the environment we’re in and we can’t seem to change this environment to suit us (I’m assuming that we’re doing all we can to fit into the environment we’re in but still can’t fit in. Meaning, the problem is in our environment and not with us). I think you might like this phrase:

Do Not Try to Fit In if You Are Born to Stand Out!

Hence, if you always can’t seem to fit in even after trying really hard, maybe you might just be born to stand out ;-)

W.O.W.-Words of Wisdom

Beautiful Open Space

Good Day to You! Below are some words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your journey to Success! ;)

  • So many people are expecting a miracle instead of being a miracle.
  • Injustice is a constant, but you can refuse to be seduced into being emotionally immobilized by it.
  • Detachment is the absence of a need to hold on to anyone or anything. It’s a way of thinking and being that gives us the freedom to flow with life. Detachment is the only vehicle available to take you from striving to arriving.
  • I fill myself with love, and I send that out into the world. How others treat me is their path; how I react is mine.
  • Realize that the journey and the goal are always the same.
  • It’s a simple procedure to calculate the number of seeds in an apple. But who among us can ever say how many apples are in a seed.
  • You’ll be trapped emotionally and physically until you learn to forgive.
  • Being bored is a choice. There’s no such thing as boredom in the world.
  • Do what you want, as long as you’re not interfering with anyone else’s right to do the same—this is the definition of morality.
  • Death is nothing to fear. It is only another dimension.

I think it’ll help you’ll get additional 1 point.

Enjoy your question and answer at http://answers.yahoo.com/ :-D

(Below is an extract from the above website)

 Motivation

Good Day to You! Below are some words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your journey to Success! ;)

* Loving sacredly means loving what is, even if you don’t comprehend the deeper meaning behind it.

* Each place along the way is somewhere you had to be in order to be here.

* Conflict is a violation of harmony. If you participate in it, you’re part of the problem, not the solution.

* Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.

* Emotions are choices.

* Don’t let emotions immobilize you. View them as choices.

* Deficiency-motivated people spend their lives in the disease called more–always trying to acquire something to make themselves feel complete and to repair the deficiency.

* Every obstacle is an opportunity. Every obstacle is a test.

* Behaviour is a much better barometer of what you are than words.

* In God’s eyes, no one on this planet is any better than you.

How Do You Slim Down?

Filed under: Self-Improvement & Money Online, Thoughts about Life — admin @ 2:41 pm

Food Pyramid

My Dear Friends, I believe if U wish to slim down, U’ll first have to make a commitment to slim down. Below are the steps U might wish to take:

1. Once U wakes up, pray and tell yourself,”I would slim down today ;-) ” .

2. Take a glass of warm water and do a minimum 10-minutes warm up and stretching every morning before U take your breakfast.

3. Before every meal, remind yourself U are in the process of slimming down and should only eat what U need and not what U want. Please note that as a guide, you should only eat the volume of food equivalent to one-fist size.. of course I mean the size of your own fist as different people’s fist varies (meaning different people need different amount of food) ;-)

4. Remember, it’s better to eat more meals and less portion at each meal per day. I take about 3 to 5 (max volume: one-fist) sized meals a day whenever I’m hungry. Sometimes I just take water to drown the small hunger which prevents me from snacking ;-) .

5. If possible, eat more vegetables and fibres and drink lots of water throughout the day.

6. Try to walk more throughout a day, whenever possible, so as to have better blood circulation. Do an average of 1 km of brisk walking per day.

7. Remember not to eat anything within 2 hours before U sleep. If U are really hungry, then take some fruits and drink some water (assist in digestion but not drink too much when U are having your meal else U will not be able to digest properly ‘cos your digestive juice would be diluted) or drink a glass of milk (it’ll neutralize your stomach acid).

8. Before U sleep pray and ask God to bless U with a slim and healthy body.

P.S.-I did the above and lost 6 Kg in 2 months. Remember: Matthew 7:7-8 - Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (NIV) Amen! Believe and U’ll receive ;-)

Words of Wisdom

Beautiful Scenery from the Mountain!

Good Day to You! Below are some words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your journey to Success! ;)

* Make a personal commitment to do what you love and love what you do–today!

* Blame is a neat little device that you can use whenever you don’t want to take responsibility for something in your life. Use it and you’ll avoid all risks and impede your own growth.

* Be the cure. Don’t look outside yourself for it.

* Listen to those inner signals that help you make the right choices–no matter what anyone thinks.

* Learn to find the blessing in pain. Practice observing the pain rather than owning it.

* Trust your intuitive voices and go with them.

* No amount of guilt can ever change history. No amount of guilt can ever change anything.

* No one can create anger or stress within you. Only you can do that by virtue of how you process your world.* If prayer is you talking to God, then intuition is God talking to you.

* No one knows enough to be a pessimist.
