 Good Morning Nature!

Good Day to You! Below are some Words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your Journey to Success! ;-)

  • If an event happens, it cannot unhappen in your physical world.
  • You can’t get prune juice from an orange, no matter how hard you squeeze it. You can’t give hate if you only have love inside.
  • You’ll be happy to know that the universal law that created miracles hasn’t been repealed.
  • When you call yourself a jerk, that’s your invisible critic judging your outer self. Remember, what you think about expands.
  • You come into this world in a wrinkled little body, and you leave in a large wrinked body… if you’re lucky.
  • There is one grand liethat we are limited. The only limits we have are the limits we believe.
  • Since your mind is your own private territory, you can give any new idea a private audition for a few days before sharing it with others.
  • A mind at peace, a mind focused on not harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.
  • Of all the deathbed regrets that I’ve heard, not one of them has been, “I wish I’d spent more time at the office.”
  • Be patient and loving with every fearful thought. Practice observing your fears as a witness and you’ll see them dissolve.

Good Day to You! Below are some Words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your Journey to Success! ;-)

  • It’s in every one of us to be love, if we allow it.
  • A new attitude can convert a stifling job situation into one of joy.
  • One song! That is our uni (one) verse (song). No matter how we separate into individual notes, we’re all still involved in the one song.
  • When you judge others, you don’t define them, you define yourself.
  • Our suffering is caused by the mindby a mind that insists on having preferences and won’t allow others to be just as they are.
  • You’re not stuck where you are unless you decide to be.
  • If you wonder about the difference between attachment and enjoyment, ask yourself how you’d react if suddenly an object you valued was gone.
  • Those who think that the world is a dark place are blind to the light that might illuminate their lives.
  • For every act of unkindness, there are a million kind acts.
  • Always remember that each day as you look at your world and see millions upon millions of flowers opening up, God does it all without using any force.

Wide Open Space

Good Day to You! Below are some Words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your Journey to Success! ;-) By the way, the above picture shows a nice wide open space, but I won’t get to see this where I live… in Singapore. But that’s not a big problem, I’ll just have to travel to the seaside to enjoy the open spaces of the sea along the shoreline… or go overseas ;-) Anyway, enjoy reading!

  • How can one invisible thought be more or less valuable than another invisible thought?
  • Your inner and outer design is perfectly in balance with all things in the universe.
  • The universe provides abundantly when you’re in a state of gratefulness.
  • When you know and feel the miracle that you are, you become certain that nothing is impossible for you.
  • You can never fail. You just produce results.
  • Willingness to forgive yourself is the necessary step to being in harmony with all the universal principles.
  • When it comes to addictions, when you’re pursuing poisons, you can never get enough of what you don’t want. You become what you think about all day long, and those days eventually become your lifetime.
  • If you meet someone whose soul is not aligned with yours, send them love and move along.
  • If you’re going to follow your bliss and make a difference in the world, you’ll soon learn that you can’t follow the herd.
  • All the great teachers have left us with a similar message: Go within, discover your invisible higher self, and know God as the love that is within you.

How to Start Living a Wonderful & Fulfilling Life?

I believe many wish they knew how to start living a wonderful and fulfilling life… Here, I’ve something which would definitely be useful to you if you would use it ;-)

  1.  Answer this question[i] ASAP: What are the Good Memories§ you want to leave behind when you leave this World? To emphasise it, ask, “What Good Memories§ do you want to be remembered when you die?” (List at least ONE).
  2. To be sure that you’re really committed, ask whether you are willing to risk shortening your life to achieve your Good Memories§ ? If you are, then by all means, just do what you need and live life to the fullest.J[ii]. You should also ensure that whatever are you willing to sacrifice in order to obtain your Good Memories§ does not, at any moment in time, result in someone else being hurt. If it may, then please review your Good Memories§ and/or the strategies you have to achieve them before commencing with your plan.
  3. To help you not waste your daily life, just think about what are the Good Memories§ you want to be able to reflect upon at the end of each day. (This will help you to be focused and objective in scheduling time for achieving your Good Memories§ by the end of the day; it will also enable you to be more aware about your priorities in Life). With the Good Memories§ finalised, you will be able to make a decision to any challenges in your life within 5 minutes without a probability of regretting it in the future J
  4. Strategies on How to Achieve Your Good Memories§:

    • a.                Research/Read/Learn all the things that you can on topics that relates and that may assist you in achieving your Good Memories§.
    • b.                Action on all the things that you’ve learnt/discovered from your research.
    • c.                Enjoy every moment of life by creatively/innovatively finding more ways to Research/Read/Learn, all the things that you can, about topics that relates to your Good Memories§ and Action on all the things that you’ve learnt/discovered.
    • d.                The best way to really understand what you’ve learnt is of course to be able to effectively teach what you’ve Researched/Read/Learnt to others. Bench mark: you can only be certified that you’ve truly understood a subject if those whom you taught think that they benefited from your sharing and is able to confidently share what you shared!

    * - Open a file[iii] (e.g. with many empty clear plastic pockets). In them, place all the things that you desire-the pictures or words representing your dreams/ Good Memories§ that you want and hope to achieve. And at the front cover, you may have the title written as “My Dream Destiny File” or “(Your Name) Dream Destiny File” to personalise it. On the second page, insert the article, which you’re now reading. For the third page, lists down all the answers that you come up with after reading this article. The rest of the pages will be your showcase of what life would be like for you when you have achieved answering whatever you wanted in life—Living your Dreamed Destiny. You may showcase anything of your choice regardless of what others may comment on them as every one of us is unique and is entitled to our own opinion of what we like and dislike—Freedom of Choice. This “Dream Destiny File” can be used as a personal motivation for us to strive for what we want to be worth!

§ Knowing our Good Memories is like knowing the final picture of a Jigsaw Puzzle. If we do not have the final picture of the Jigsaw Puzzle with us, it is almost impossible for us to solve the Jigsaw Puzzle. Even if we get to solve it eventually, it would have taken so much of our effort and time that when it is solved, we’re probably too tired or old to enjoy the fruits of our labour. When we have the final picture, do not worry about not being able to complete the Jigsaw Puzzle because once we started piecing it together, we would have very high chances of completing it. Even if we could not complete it (should we be killed whilst in our quest for our Good Memories)… we would still have (left behind) the Good Memories of knowing that we had tried our best and that we had not let ourselves down. Thus, we will die with NO REGRETS – because we would have lived a life with no Guilt!

    • [i] This question is important, as it’ll help you to discover your personal Purpose or Goals in living your life. With your Purpose or Goals sorted out, decision-making will be a breeze (easily or even effortlessly). The simple reason is that for every decision that you need to make, you only need to ask yourself, “Does this Challenge (problem) Benefit me or Harm me? If it Benefits me, I’ll accept the Challenge, otherwise I’ll reject the challenge as my life is priceless and I will not risk on anything that does not Benefit me.” However, if it is a Challenge as a result of the consequence of our earlier decision, we’ll need to be responsible enough to solve it. Either by ourselves or with the help of friends—can be anyone who is willing to help us). A True Friend is Someone Who Stays By Your Side In Your Time of Need When Everyone Else Avoids You.
    • [ii] It is better to live like a Lion for a Day, than to live like a Sheep for the rest of our Lives. As a Lion, we get to decide what we want and also when we want to achieve it; But as a Sheep, we live in fear and thus dare not dream of what we want, much less daring to decide what we want and when we want to achieve it! … Choose to Live a Life of Action, rather than Reaction, as it will mean that We Get to be Prepared for What is To Be—as we’re the ones, to a certain extend, planned for What is To Be.
    • [iii] This file can be used as an ice-breaker in families that never seem to know any reason to gather for a chat as they think they’ve a huge generation gap-don’t understand one another and can’t find common ground to talk about. With the “Dream Destiny File” created, especially by each and every family member… there will be so many topics to talk about that the only worry is… “Do we have enough time to share?”… Hence, we need to live longer to continually share our Good Memories§.

Good Day to You! Below are some words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your journey to Success! ;-)

  • Even in a prison, your corner of freedom is how you choose to think. No one can take that awayever!
  • Meditation shatters the illusion of your separateness.
  • Meditation gives you an opportunity to come to know your invisible self.
  • Your lifetime in form is to be honoured and celebrated. Go beyond your enslavement, and live fully in the now, as this is the only time you have.
  • Once you’ve learned how to enter your inner kingdom, you have a special retreat within that’s always available to you.
  • Everything exists for some reason as a part of the perfect intelligence that is the universe.
  • More is less; less is more.
  • You’re here for a reason, and it’s not to hoard a lot of physical stuff.
  • There’s no stress in the world, only people thinking stressful thoughts.
  • No one can create anger or stress within you; only you can do that by virtue of how you process your world.

Good Day to You! Below are some Words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your journey to Success! ;-)

  • Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?
  • One cannot choose up sides on a round planet.
  • Authentic empowerment is surrendering to that which is loving, harmonious, and good in ourselves, and not allowing for enemies in our consciousness.
  • Love empowers you to higher levels.
  • If you doubt the principles of the universe, they won’t work for you.
  • To not forgive is to not understand how the universe works and how you fit into it.
  • Giving is in alignment with your purpose.
  • What you think about expands. If your thoughts are centered on what’s missing, then what’s missing by definition, will have to expand.
  • Nothing you imagine in your mind is impossible.
  • Jesus told us that even the least among us could do all that he had done, and even greater things. You can be a miracle worker.

Beautiful Scenery

Good Day to You! Below are some words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your journey to Success! ;-)

  • You can sit forever, lamenting how bad you’ve been, feeling guilty until your death, and not one tiny slice of that guilt will do anything to rectify past behaviour.
  • You’re the result of all the previous pictures you’ve painted for yourself… and you can always paint new ones.
  • Authentic empowerment is the knowing that you are on purpose, doing God’s work, peacefully and harmoniously.
  • You can’t get hold of the wind. It’s the same with thought.
  • You can’t age thought. You can only age form.
  • All you get is today, and next week maybe. But today, for sure.
  • Attachment to being right creates suffering. When you have a choice to be right or to be kind, choose kindness, and watch your suffering disappear.
  • Anything that immobilizes you, gets in your way, or keeps you from your goals is all yours. You can throw it away anytime you choose.
  • What you must do to move yourself into the mental framework for “miracle making” is to just let go.
  • Once you believe in yourself and see your soul as divine and precious, you’ll automatically be converted to a being who can create a miracle.

Our “Holiday Planet” from Space

Filed under: Thoughts about Life — admin @ 5:36 am

Dear Friends,

Have you ever wanted to see what our planet looks like during night time when you’re travelling in space? Well, you don’t have to go far or spend lots of money to achieve that ‘cos I’ve included some pictures of Earth here. It’s not exactly the raw photos taken from space but it had been nicely edited so that you get a clearer view of Earth during the night from space without any clouds covering your view at all! Enjoy ;)

Earth during the Night over Asia

Earth during the Night over Asia

It’s fascinating to know that the street lights from our towns, villages and cities could be seen from space! From the picture that you had seen above and those in this article, you could easily figure out where the majority of people live… well, this is evident from the bright lights that shined from their street lights and anything that produced light. From far, we could see how inter-connected we are because we’re all living in the same planet. So remember to take care of our planet because it’s not like we could go live somewhere else!

Now, back to the picture: Places like Japan and India are so lighted up… looking at the Northern part of the Asian Continent, you can roughly make out the connections between towns and cities in Russia. And when you look at the bottom of the picture, you could even see the outline of South East Asia ;)

Earth during the Night over Australia

Earth during the Night over Australia

From the picture, most of the people in Australia lives in the Eastern and South-East part of the country. You could also see the outline of the two main islands that make up New Zealand ;)

Earth during the Night over America

Earth during the Night over America

The mid-section of North America seems to be quite evenly distributed with inhabitants, especially the Eastern side. That’s because the Western side is mostly covered by the Rocky Mountain range which made it quite hard to build large scale towns or cities due to uneven terrain.

Earth during the Night over Europe

Earth during the Night over Europe

The whole of Europe is very bright with inhabitants… especially the Western side where most of the richer countries of Europe are situated.

Earth during the Night over Africa

Earth during the Night over Africa

Africa when compared to the other continents seemed like it’s pretty much uninhabited… probably because of most of it’s Northern part is taken up by the Sahara Desert.

Earth during the Night over Arctic

Earth during the Night over the Arctic

The North Pole region generally looks uninhabited as it’s too cold!

Now, let’s see the overall picture of Earth during the Night. (Please note it’s not to scale as the North Pole & South Pole had been stretched to show all continents at once)

Note: I’ve called Earth a “Holiday Planet” because like going on a holiday, we stay in a place (in this case, staying in Planet Earth) only for a while before we leave. Well, with every passing second of time, our lives are actually shorter by a second. So, in fact, if you ask a pessimist, he would tell you with every passing second of time, we’re all counting down to the day we die.. or may I put it this way, “expire”. (If you wish to read more about my thoughts about our “Holiday Planet”, please click the page “about me” on the right side of this webpage).

Nobody knows exactly when he or she will “expire” but most people probably didn’t bother to think about it until they’re very sick or had a serious accident or injury before they start taking care of their health, and maybe start thinking if they are doing the right things with the time they possess. I hope we constantly review how we spend every precious minute and hour of our life and treasure those we love and those who love us before it’s too late. Remember to cherish what you have and not be too engrossed with getting things you do not have and neglect your dear ones around you. Well, you could start by giving a call, right now, to someone who care about you. Have a Wonderful Weekend! ;)

Today’s Good Friday–It’s History & it’s Meaning

Filed under: Spiritual Awareness — admin @ 5:04 am

Just wanted to say that to the Christians and anyone who believes in Jesus, Good Friday is considered good because Jesus died on our behalf, for our sins, when He was crucified on the cross. (On the third day, a Sunday, Jesus is risen!) So that whoever believes and accepts Him as Lord and Saviour shall be saved ;-)

History-Original Events of Good Friday

A Good Friday procession in Mumbai by Indian Roman Catholics, depicting the Way of the Cross

A Good Friday procession in Mumbai by Indian Roman Catholics, depicting the Way of the Cross.

On Good Friday, it is considered a mortal sin to ingest meat!!!

Jesus Christ, having been arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane by the Temple Guards through the guidance of Judas Iscariot, is brought to the house of Annas, who is father-in-law of the current high priest, Caiaphas. There he is interrogated with little result, and sent bound to Caiaphas the high priest, where the Sanhedrin had assembled (John 18:1-24).

Conflicting testimony against Jesus is brought forth by many witnesses, to which Jesus answers nothing. Finally the high priest adjures Jesus to respond under solemn oath, saying “I adjure you, by the Living God, to tell us, are you the Anointed One, the Son of God?” Jesus testifies in the affirmative, “You have said it, and in time you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Almighty, coming on the clouds of Heaven.” The high priest condemns Jesus for blasphemy, and the Sanhedrin concurs with a sentence of death (Matthew 26:57-66).

In the morning the whole assembly brings Jesus to the Roman governor Pontius Pilate, under charges of subverting the nation, opposing taxes to Caesar, and making himself a king (Luke 23:1-2). Pilate authorizes the Jewish leaders to judge Jesus according to their own Law and execute sentencing, however the Jewish leaders reply that they are not allowed by the Romans to carry out a sentence of death (John 18:31).

Pilate questions Jesus, and tells the assembly that there is no basis for sentencing. Upon learning that Jesus is from Galilee, Pilate refers the case to the ruler of Galilee, King Herod, who was in Jerusalem for the Passover Feast. Herod questions Jesus but receives no answer; Herod sends Jesus back to Pilate. Pilate tells the assembly that neither he nor Herod have found guilt in Jesus; Pilate resolves to have Jesus whipped and released (Luke 23:3-16).

It was a custom during the feast of Passover for the Romans to release one prisoner as requested by the Jews. Pilate asks the crowd who they would like to be released. Under the guidance of the chief priests, the crowd asks for Barabbas, who had been imprisoned for committing murder during an insurrection. Pilate asks what they would have him do with Jesus, and they demand, “Crucify him” (Mark 15:6-14). Pilate’s wife had seen Jesus in a dream earlier that day; she forewarns Pilate to “have nothing to do with this righteous man” (Matthew 27:19).

Pilate has Jesus flogged, then brings him out to the crowd to release him. The chief priests inform Pilate of a new charge, demanding Jesus be sentenced to death “because he claimed to be God’s son.” This possibility filled Pilate with fear, and he brought Jesus back inside the palace and demanded to know from where he came (John 19:1-9).

Coming before the crowd one last time, Pilate declares Jesus innocent, washing his own hands in water to show he has no part in this condemnation. Nevertheless, Pilate hands Jesus over to be crucified in order to forestall a riot (Matthew 27:24-26). The sentence written is “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” Jesus carries his cross to the site of execution, called the place of the Skull, or “Golgotha” in Hebrew and “Calvary” in Latin. There he is crucified along with two criminals (John 19:17-22).

Jesus agonizes on the cross for three hours while the sun is darkened. With a loud cry, Jesus gives up his spirit. There is an earthquake, tombs break open, and the curtain in the Temple is torn from top to bottom. The centurion on guard at the site of crucifixion declares, “Truly this was God’s Son!” (Matthew 27:45-54)

Joseph of Arimathea, a member of the Sanhedrin and secret follower of Jesus, who had not consented to his condemnation, goes to Pilate to request the body of Jesus (Luke 23:50-52). Pilate asks confirmation from the centurion whether Jesus is dead (Mark 15:44). A soldier pierced the side of Jesus with a lance causing blood and water to flow out (John 19:34), and the centurian informs Pilate that Jesus is dead (Mark 15:45).

Joseph of Arimathea takes the body of Jesus, wraps it in a clean linen shroud, and places it in his own new tomb that had been carved in the rock (Matthew 27:59-60) in a garden near the site of crucifixion. Another secret follower of Jesus and member of the Sanhedrin named Nicodemus (John 3:1) also came bringing 75 pounds of myrrh and aloes, and places them in the linen with the body of Jesus, according to Jewish burial customs (John 19:39-40). They rolled a large rock over the entrance of the tomb (Matthew 27:60). Then they returned home and rested, because at sunset began the Sabbath (Luke 23:54-56).

Good Friday, Names in different languages

The Dutch name Goede Vrijdag translates as “Good Friday”. Other languages refer to this day in different ways (mostly as holy Friday).

In the Holy Land, Good Friday is known as “Great Friday.” In German it is “Karfreitag”, an Old German word meaning “Friday of lamentation”, although this meaning is not obvious to speakers of modern German. In Armenia it is called “High Friday (Ավագ Ուրբաթ)”. In Russia it is called “Passion Friday” (Страстной Пяток / Страстная Пятница).

In some more secular communities Good Friday has been erroneously referred to as “Easter Friday”. However, the following Friday (after Easter) is the correct day to be named Easter Friday.

God Bless us ;-)

 Night Shuttle Launch

It’s amazing what we could achieve when we gather our knowledge, skill and experience together for a common goal. Hence, when we organise our thoughts and seek constant improvement, we’ll one day achieve our goal. Just like how mankind is able to launch a shuttle into space. It was someone’s dream made possible because they did not put restrictions to their ideas and did not allow others to destroy their dreams. So if there is something worthwhile which you believe you could do even when no one has achieved it before, please strive towards it ;-)

Good Day to You! Below are some words of Wisdom I’ve came across… Hope U find them useful in your journey to Success! ;-)

  • Stop focusing on what you don’t have, and shift your consciousness to an appreciation for all you are and all that you do have.
  • Tell me what you’re for, and I’ll show you what’s going to expand in a positive way. Tell me what you’re against, and I’ll show you what’s going to expand in a destructive way. (This two sentences seems to imply that we should just think of positive thoughts that we want to manifest in our lives).
  • You’re totally free when you’re able to stop thinking about yourself and your self-importance.
  • Stop looking for your purpose. Be it!
  • The fear of not having enough prevents many from seeing that they already are enough.
  • The essence of greatness is the ability to choose personal fulfillment in circumstances where others choose madness.
  • The only boundaries we have are in form. There are no obstacles in thought.
  • The more you move away, the more you get back.
  • The only response to hatred is love. Everything else will bring you down.
  • Your body is nothing more than the garage where you temporarily park your soul.
